System 3000
The basic version of the System 3000 provides one Sampling Module (SAM), one Operator Control Module (OCM), an independent Power Supply and a network-linked Wirefeeder. In this configuration, the System 3000 provides a sampling capacity of one ladle every four minutes. The System 3000 can be pallet-mounted for convenient transport.

Fully Flexible
The System 3000 can be configured to have multiple SAMs for increased sampling rates and/or multiple OCMs to display process information in different areas of the foundry. The System 3000 can also have multiple wirefeeders, for example, for base treatment and correction. A variety of floor-mount and wall-mount options are available.

User-Friendly
System 3000 uses simple Green-Yellow-Red light signals to communicate with the Operator. All display screens are provided in the local language. Measurement results for Modification (Mg) and Inoculation are presented as simple histogram values ranging from 0 to 100. Operator training time is typically 2-3 days.

Software Access - Independent Control
Foundry supervisors have full access to the SinterCast software menus, directly from their desktop computers. This access allows the foundry to independently develop and calibrate new products and to modify parameters to suit their series production. Measurement results from every ladle are available for direct transfer to the foundry quality control IT system in real-time, to satisfy QS9000 traceability requirements.

Independent Maintenance
Supervisors and maintenance personnel can connect a configured laptop directly to the System 3000 to conduct full diagnostic testing and troubleshooting. The software used for the on-site testing is the same that SinterCast uses to certify modules and complete systems prior to delivery.

Comprehensive manuals are available for the Operators and Supervisors to describe the operation and maintenance of the System 3000. The Supervisor (Technical Reference) Manual provides detailed information on the use of the software, the access menus and maintenance and troubleshooting. A Components Catalogue is also provided to describe the hardware modules and individual components that can be sourced as spare parts.
